The user, bash fan first came across darkSpyro in early 2012, when he was searching for information related to Skylanders Spyro's Adventure. He lurked the site for a bit before officially creating his account on April 2, 2012.
He has been inactive on the website since his last post in 2017, now focusing on other video games, only logging in to the site once in a while.

- In the past, he has personally played and completed Spyro games - Spyro: Shadow Legacy (DS), Skylander's Spyro's Adventure (Wii), Spyro: Year of the Dragon (PC ROM), Spyro the Dragon (PC ROM) and Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (PC ROM)
- His darkSpyro username was originally intended to be "Bambazooka" when first registering, but darkSpyro being his first forum, the account activation was unsuccessful, "bash fan" was successfully created afterwards, while "Bambazooka" still exists as a Crystallized account.
